we have recently discovered an error in the antenna model record for CHAT (now decommissioned).
The time period affected runs from 2001-11-28 to 2012-03-06.
The antenna model was wrongly recorded as ASH701945C_M.
The correct code to be considered is ASH701945B_M.
An updated version of the site log has been submitted to IGS Central Bureau.
We are also updating the RINEX headers and resubmitting daily rinex files to IGN and CDDIS repositories.
SONEL will update the RINEX files as soon as they are available on CDDIS.

[IGSMAIL-6603] The equipment at CHAT (Chatham Islands) suffered a terminal failure on 6 March 2012. We are discontinuing operations at CHAT for several reasons, including that the nearby (20 km) IGS site CHTI has been operating in parallel for 4.5 years (since 2007 day 345).

[IGSSTATION-3768]: We announced several years ago that CHAT was to be replaced by CHTI situated about 20 km away, and that CHAT would probably go off the air once any of its aging equipment failed.
