The firmware of the Trimble Alloy receiver at the station SYOG00ATA was upgraded to 5.45 on 2020-06-04.
A new site log has been submitted.
The firmware of Trimble Alloy receiver at SYOG has been updated from version 5.42 to version 5.43.
The new sitelog has been submitted.
The receiver at IGS station SYOG00ATA has been upgraded Trimble Alloy.
The station log file has been submitted to IGS-CB.
SYOG00ATA has encountered communication trouble [IGSSTATION-7840].
But the trouble is partly resolved.
Though communication is unstable, real-time stream is available now.
We will submit RINEX files when recovery process is completed.
The station SYOG (Syowa station, Antarctic) is currently offline
(2020-01-17T07:00:00Z -).
We are resolving the network communication issue.
RINEX and real-time data will be unavailable until the issue is resolved.
Due to electric power trouble,
the realtime data stream from GSI's Antarctic station SYOG (DOMES:66006S002)
was interrupted during the following period;
January 18th (Fri) 06:33UT-07:24UT
Due to network maintenance work,
the realtime data stream from GSI's Antarctic station SYOG (DOMES:66006S002)
will be interrupted.
The interruption time is less than 60 minutes during the following period;
December 17th (Mon) - 19th (Wed)
The realtime data stream from GSI's Antarctic station SYOG (DOMES:66006S002)
recovered from the interruption at the following time;
June 25th (Mon) 05:30UT
As a result, the realtime data stream interruption occurred during the following period;
June 23th (Sat) 00:15UT - 25th (Mon) 05:30UT
The reasons for the interruption were power outage planned on weekend and recovery trouble of network servers
in the National Institute of Polar Research (NIPR),
which serves the network route from the Antarctic station to Japan.
The realtime data stream from GSI's Antarctic station SYOG (DOMES:66006S002)
has been interrupted since the following time;
June 23th (Sat) 00:15UT
The reason why the data stream was interrupted is not clear now.
We are now trying to solve this problem.
Due to the reboot of the receiver,
the realtime data stream from GSI's Antarctic station SYOG (DOMES:66006S002)
was interrupted in the following period;
February 14th (Wed) 06:36UT - 06:39UT
Due to the configuration change of cable connections with UPS units,
the realtime data stream from GSI's Antarctic station SYOG (DOMES:66006S002)
will be interrupted in the following period;
February 2nd (Wed) 06:00UT - 07:30UT
Due to a planned interruption of the power supply,
the realtime data stream from GSI's Antarctic station SYOG (DOMES:66006S002)
will be interrupted again in the following period;
January 24th (Wed) 04:20UT - 09:30UT
Due to the replacement of an UPS unit,
the realtime data stream from GSI's Antarctic station SYOG (DOMES:66006S002)
will be interrupted in the following period;
January 23rd (Tue) 05:30UT- (for several hours)
GSI's Antarctic station SYOG (DOMES:66006S002) recovered at 11:44UT on December 29th.
The cause of the data acquisition interruption was cable damage.
By replacing the cable between the receiver and the antenna,
the data acquisition recovered.
Because of the trouble-shooting,
the external reference signal from the Cesium clock was not used.
And it resumed being used from 23:55UT on January 3rd.
Due to the power supply trouble,
the realtime data stream from GSI's Antarctic station SYOG (DOMES:66006S002)
was interrupted in the following period;
December 22nd (Fri) 09:30UT - 15:16UT
In addition, the data acquisition in SYOG has been interrupted
since December 24th (Sun) 15:30UT.
The reason is not clear, and it's under investigation.
IGS site SYOG hasn't submitted daily data since DOY 095 due to a trouble
of communication device.
It will take time to repair.
The SCIS radome was installed on February 2, 2014.
There is a data gap on doy 033, 7:00-9:00.
The updated site log has been submitted to the IGS CB.
We are unfortunately unable to provide the SYOG data due to the
electricity outage starting on Jan 27th around 05:30 UTC to
Jan 28th around 00:00 UTC.
SYOG station will be down from UTC 06:00 December 18 (doy 352) and
for approximate 2 days due to replacement of the receiver and antenna.
It is possible that a shift in position will appear in time series at the date for the maintenance.
