"The bench mark is a disk set in top of a 2 m (7 ft) concrete sea wall, 30 m (98 ft) north of east end of pier, 6.10 m (20.0 ft) south of north edge of concrete ramp leading to the beach, 3.81 m (12.5 ft) north of the NW corner of Center for Coastal Studies Building, 0.50 m (1.6 ft) east of the point where the sea wall makes a 130-degree turn away from the beach, and 4 m (12 ft) below pier floor."
