"The bench mark is a disk located on the SW side of Pawka Green in the east end of the southern most bed planted with trees, 35.90 m (117.8 ft) WNW of NW corner of Sverdrup Hall structure (not low metal wall build-out), 25.60 m (84.0 ft) SE of SE corner of 8630 Discovery Way (Admissions Building/Old Scripps), 12.05 m (39.5 ft) SSE of SW corner of westernmost concrete seating in Pawka Green, 8.80 m (28.9 ft) NE of center of sewer manhole cover located on the southwest end of Pawka Green, 8.00 m (26.2 ft) WSW of 2nd streetlamp east of access rd. (Discovery Way?) and at the south end of Pawka Green, 2.10 m (6.9 ft) SSW of the second post to the east on the southernmost hand railing of Pawka Green. The bench mark is crimped to the top of a copper-clad rod driven 7.01 m (23.0 ft) to refusal, and encased in a PVC pipe with an aluminum hatch."
