We are pleased to announce the availability of RINEX-3 data for the EPN stations EIJS000NLD (Eijsden), IJMU00NLD (Ijmuiden), TERS00NLD (Terschelling) and VLIS00NLD (Vlissingen).
Daily, hourly and highrate RINEX-3 data is pushed to the EUREF data centers at BKG and BEV, and available from the local data center in Delft http://gnss1.tudelft.nl/dpga.
The following files are made available
- Daily RINEX-3 files with 30 second measurement interval, assembled from receiver generated RINEX-3 files (starting August 30, 2017)
- Hourly RINEX-3 files with 30 second measurement interval, assembled from receiver generated RINEX-3 files (starting August 15, 2019)
- High-rate RINEX-3 files with 1 second measurement interval created by the Geo software from streamed data (starting September 1, 2019)
High rate RINEX-3 is routinely uploaded to BKG, whereas daily and hourly RINEX-3 are routinely uploaded to both BKG and BEV data centers. Older RINEX-3 daily 30s data files have been upload to BKG and BEV, with the oldest file from August 30, 2017. The archive of daily RINEX-3 files is nearly complete, although there are a few gaps for which we have only RINEX-2, but no RINEX-3 data.
Please note that the hourly and daily RINEX-2 files - which are uploaded in parallel to RINEX-3 - are created by the Geo software from streamed data, whereas the daily and hourly 30 second RINEX-3 files (but not the high rate files) are created from 15 minute RINEX-3 files downloaded from the receiver. Hence availability for the daily and hourly RINEX-3 and RINEX-2 data can be slightly different as different processes are involved.
The station log files have been updated to reflect the upgraded data availability.
The dissemination of this data has been made possible largely thanks to the efforts of the Dutch Kadaster, which is gratefully acknowledged.
A mistake was discovered in the receiver serial number for station VLIS in both the rinex data files and station logfile. Earlier this year the receiver at VLIS was temporarily removed for replaced by a spare receiver. The original receiver was reinstalled on May 17, but this event was not recorded in the rinex-2 headers and station logfile, resulting in erroneous headers and station logfile since May 17 2019.
The station logfile has been corrected yesterday, and today rinex-2 daily data files, for the period between May 17 2019 and August 19 2019, have been re-submitted to the BKG and BEV data centers. The only change in the re-submitted data is the receiver serial number.
Hourly rinex-2 data files should be correct after August 19, 15:00 UTC at the BKG and BEV data centers. Hourly files from before this date have been corrected at the LDC in Delft (gnss1.tudelft.nl), but were not (yet) re-submitted to BKG and BEV. Please inform the author in case there is a need to re-submit older hourly data files to BKG and BEV.
Due to work on the network switches the Local Data Center in Delft will be unavailable on Saturday October 6, 2018, starting at 08:00 LT (06:00 UTC) in the morning. We expect to be up and running again later in the afternoon on Saturday Oct 6.
During this period there will be no data available through ftp or http. Also, no files will be uploaded to IGS and EPN data centers. However, the LDC will still be able to accept incoming data, and also NTRIP data streams should be unaffected (only the NFS mounts to the data are affected).
